Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see every status?

Stavo can list only media that the source app has actually stored in a folder you granted. Open the status in the source app, check that the media has downloaded, then return to Stavo and pull to refresh. Text-only statuses and streamed or incomplete files might not be available. If you use multiple accounts, grant the parent status folder when Stavo offers that option.

How do I grant or change a folder?

Open Stavo → Settings → Folder access, choose the source and follow the Android folder picker. Select the requested app folder and tap “Use this folder”, then confirm the system prompt. Access can be removed later in Android's app settings or document-access controls.

Where do saved files go?

Saved media is written to your phone's gallery under Stavo's Pictures or Movies folders; split parts use a Split subfolder. Older files saved under a StatusSaver folder may also appear. Some files may remain in your gallery even after uninstalling Stavo.

Does splitting upload my video?

No. The splitter processes the selected video on your device. A foreground notification may appear while it works. Sharing a finished part sends it to the app you select; that app's policies then apply.

Can Stavo post directly to a status?

No. When you share a file, select the appropriate destination in the receiving app. Stavo does not control that app's posting interface or guarantee upload order when sharing multiple files at once.

Why am I seeing ads?

Some app versions include Google-served ads, which can be remotely enabled or disabled. Ads are not required to choose a status folder or split a local video. For third-party data practices, see our privacy policy.
